COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A very limited release this season, Crowd Control is an American, hop-forward IPA. Abundant kettle hopping and extensive dry hopping keep the malt in check while showcasing the flavors and nose of an IPA that can barely be contained. Drink fresh and don’t resist.

12oz can. Clearly unfiltered because of the yeast I can see floating in the melon orange color. The head is soapy and sticky with big bubbles and lacing. Aroma is piney with serious and unexpected caramel malt. The malt is low in toast and burnt flavors, just light brown sugar character. Some alcohol esters. A potent IPA.

Pours hazy banana with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma is not strong, but delivers zesty hops and citrus and tropical fruit. Flavor beefs up all of these and tosses in some fresh malt and woody character for a truly enjoyable IPA. Mouthfeel features decent body and fair fizz. Can you control yourself?

12 fl oz can. Pours hazy yellow. White head. Aroma is citrusy and slight herbal. Sweet, slight fruity. Peachy and slight sweet. Bitter and smooth fruity finish.

Draft at Craft Brewed. Pours a clear gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Big citrus forward nose with dai dai, tangerine and faint lemon. Well-balanced palate. Clean, crisp and dry. Lingering bitterness. Really hides the abv. Very Stone-esque, very good.

Very nice aroma. Citrus, pine, malt, very clean. Medium gold color with a tuft of white foam. Very drinkable, no bitterness or bite but the hops are still there. Good smooth palate. A tad overrated.

Can thanks to Sarah. Pours a cloudy orange gold with some visible sediment and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has strong resinous pine and sweet grains with a hint of caramel. Flavor has strong resinous pine throughout backed sweet grains and a touch caramel.

citrus and pine hops with an underlying bready aroma. Flavor starts bitter, but with a biscuit malt backbone. Balanced finish with malt, bitterness, and drying alcohol. Not the hop crazy beer as advertised, but a fine double IPA regardless.

Cajun (550) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - SEP 13, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2017 Can - Super cold, so I may be missing flavor profiles; floaties, so I'm not sure how fresh. Pours an overrated hazy orange with a sudsy head that had some other place to go, apparently. Typical IIPA flavors. Big hop bite, creamy malt. Not as complex as some of the others. Straight forward, but still pretty good. It's good, but for a double ipa with a good rating, I'm thinking I got an older can. Hokus Pokus, Alexandria, LA sucks. JS

Cloudy amber. Not a super aromatic imperial ipa, but a solid beer regardless. Not bad for a gas station in the boonies.
