Solid blonde that was equally bready and crisp. Mild pale malts and enough of a yeast presence to give a little character.

12 ounce can - The Nest at Kennesaw, Georgia. Canned 03/08/17. Appearance: Pours a darkish, fairly opaque (some suspended floaties), gold body with a collapsing, white head. Smell: Lightly sweet-scented, a bit bready and a touch of gently toasted grain. Some slender fruity esters as well as some lightly citrusy hops. Taste: A sweetish taste of golden barley, lightly bread with a hint of grain. Slight fruitiness, also some citrus (lemon). Modest bitterness. Lightly drying, near crisp finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Just a hair over medium carbonation. Overall: Basic but sufficient blonde ale.

Mostly malty aroma with a little wheat spiciness. Malty flavor balanced with some hop bitterness. This beer comes as advertised--enough flavor to satisfy the beer lovers like me, but mild enough to feed to the Bud Light crowd too. A really good tailgate beer--better than I expected.

Average looking pour with DOA head. Very grainy aroma. Sweet taste with some very good aftertaste. The outstanding flavor saves this otherwise mediocre looking/smelling brew, but isn’t flavor what it’s all about? On tap @ The Flying Saucer, Memphis, TN.
