Bottle. A brownish color with a tan head. A bitter and sweet malty and caramel flavor with a strong aroma
Rusty red, with a bone-colored head. Aroma is sweet, with malt and a hint of tangerine. Taste is the same, and more, and there’s a rounded creamsicle aspect to it. Drinks more like a 7%, but it has some alcohol in the finish. $1.7/12 oz Nickls (2576) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - MAY 6, 2016
Tap. Orange amber color with a light tan head. Lots of sweetness, raisin, fruit and slight hop in the aroma. Hops are flat in this, and it seems like yesterday’s DIPA with extra malt; heavier dark fruit flavors with a late hoppy palate burn. Medium body. slowrunner77 (12581) - Reno, Nevada, USA - FEB 4, 2016
An ok strong ale - hops and malt compete for attention with the malt winning out. Spicy, earthy and sweet. Good body if not terribly smooth. zgaier (1962) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - DEC 14, 2015
Bomber. Pours a brown red with a tan head and aroma of fruits, malt, and caramel. Taste is of malt, caramel, fruits, light citrus, hops and earthy notes with a malty finish. jjgmd (2220) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - DEC 14, 2015
Pours a thick molasses pour with no head. Nose is sweet malt, caramel and toffee. Taste is sweet caramel and malt with very appreciable hops giving the ale some descent bitterness. Finishes on the same bittersweet hoppy notes with a dry and moderately long finish . quaff score 7 / 10

Bomber from Whole Foods Plymouth. Pours turbid ruby/deep coppery with 1-finger, frothy, off-khaki head. Nose is intense barleywiney, with heavy caramel malt, molasses, hops, dark fruit. Tastes very citric, orange zesty, caramel malt dense, with a dense and complex mouthfeel. Like a hybrid 33/33/33 strong ale/barleywine/imperial red hybrid of sorts, this one is assertive, hefty, and not for lightweights. hopdog (12953) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 30, 2014
22oz bottle. Poured an amberish color with an off white head. Malty - caramel, dark fruits, and some citrus. Oscbert (1319) - Lincoln, California, USA - JUN 20, 2014
~Strong aroma of wood, resinous hops, and sweet caramel. Makes my mouth water.
~Pours an amberish red color with lasting dense and thick yellowish white head.
~ Sweet malty flavor, but very well balanced with strong hop flavor. Caramel, chocolate, and bread for the malts. Woody, resinous, and earthy for the hops.
~Full bodied feel, with medium low CO2, lingering earthy hop finish.
~Yes sir, this is my cup of tea. I really like the Prohibition Ale and this seems to be just a more amped up version. Great way to end the day, mfp13jr (152) - Glenville, New York, USA - MAY 8, 2014
Picked this one up at Penn Station for the ride home. Pours out a deep reddish with brown notes. Plenty of light head on this one, too much I would say. This is a nice malty brew, caramely, with plenty of hops, but not overpowering. alobar (3879) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 3, 2014
Pours a dark mahogany color with aroma of caramel, toasted malt, and resin. Heavy caramel flavor with toasted malt, and a casual hop bite at the end. VERY nice beer.
