Tap. Pours crisp gold with abundant white head that disipates slowly. Heavy hops aroma and flavor, but not overpowering. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - JUN 30, 2006
Poured a clear gold color with a medium fairly white head. Citrusy hop aroma of maslty notes underneath and some light pine. Nice mix of malt and hop in the flavor. Moderate bitterness in the fiinish. Semi-dry with a medium body. hellomynameis (877) - Mayer, Minnesota, USA - JUN 30, 2006
Remeber goldenrod paper from grade school? Well this kind of looked like a washed out version of that. Medium to large sized initial head with more of a coatign later. Aroma is some flowery citrus liek hops that carry into a mostly pine resin flavour. Bit’o’sweet malts are barely perceptable above the hops. Over all this is quite good tasting and something that would make a good session style IPA. hophead75 (2012) - Largo, Florida, USA - JUN 29, 2006
almost clear light golden with a medium off white heas. Aroma is citrusy and piney. Taste is very pretty hoppy, with citrus/pine standing out much like the double, but with a rather thin body, and some biscuity and lightly sweet malt character. Finish is dry and bitter. Bottle. Nice golden color. Light/med body. Good hop aroma. Nice smooth drinking IPA with plenty of flavor and aroma, mildly sweet, dry and clean finish.

"Ho hum. Just another IPA. Poured a pale yellow color Massive head but left almost no lacing. Aroma was resinous/pine. Flavor was citrusy pine but a little flat. not a good one." User37895 (3042) - - JUN 11, 2006
A good IPA, I enjoy. A weak IPA without character, not above average on my wishlist. In any event, this one poured a pale golden color with a huge head (the bottle foamed upon opening). Lacing was weak for an IPA. Aroma was of resinous and pine type flavors. Flavor was pale malts, some pine, some citrus. Mouthfeel was thin. Flavor was light. Gimme more than this, folks! jrob21 (3773) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 20, 2006
Golden yellow color and decent head. Buttery smell with some citrus. Taste is a little disappointing due to the bitterness and quick finish. OldMrCrow (2446) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 20, 2006

Pours a light orange-yellow with a modest head; the aroma is a great big hop blast, indeed reminiscent of Stone IPA, that leaves the mouth watering. The flavor does well but doesn’t quite live up. t’s certainly ruthlessly bitter (a la Stone) without the sweetness of Stone’s IPA; both of these are very nice attributes. But the bitterness is somewhat metallic, and the mouthfeel is watery.
This one could be really nice. But the pieces don’t come together as equal to the sum of the parts. That said, this is a 3.5 that I’d enjoy trying again given the opportunity.
Very good IPA, I sense they got some ideas witht he strength from Stone. heh heh very nice pour from the bottle, good head and great colour! Flavour was of very strong hops, and a very slight citrus finish.
