Bottle sampled with Mad Indian at Issac Newtons. POurs amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, alcohol, and HOPS! The flavor is moderately bitter, caramel, with a good alcohol kick. Good brew.

12oz bottle from Larry Pitonka. Aroma: Sweet malt with a nice caramel note upfront, hops kick in with a strong pine and resin character followed by some juicy citrus and some earthy hops. Appearance: Light orange in color and slightly hazed. Off-white head was full and foamy with good retention. Nice lacing. Flavor: Malt upfront again with caramel, toasted bread, and honey. Hops are pine/resin, citrus, and earthy/floral. Medium-high bitterness. Palate: Medium-full bodied. Medium carbonation. Light alcohol warming in back of mouth. Overall: A nice beer, but a little light in aroma/flavor/bitterness for a top IIPA. Still, not bad and worth a try.

Bottle: A lighter golden pour with a smaller white head, good lacing. Nose is mostly citrus and piney hops, some malty sweetness. Taste is smooth with a maltiness until the hops and alcohol come through. Nice, assertive finish is hoppy and warming.

Bottle. Orange pour with an off-white head. Aromas of booze, earthy hops and sweet caramel malt...but nothing too pungent which is kinda what I hope for with this style: pungent aromas. The flavor was of sweet malts, and oddly light hops which made me consider: "how old is this damn bottle, and how well was it stored?". Sort of a syrupy mouthfeel and finishes somewhat dry. Id love to try another sometime...peferably very fresh...but as it stands now this one was kind of a mess.

Very hoppy beer, both in aroma and bitterness. Like it. Good carbonation. Full body. Not the best of strong IPAs (I love pliny the younger), but still good. Good value at $7/4pack.

Pours with a two finger light cream head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Cloudy amber color. Light carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy malty nose. Flavor begins as sweet caramel but there are a lot of hops here so a sharp hoppy finish that doesnt linger. High ABV is hidden. Much better than their Big Daddy IPA. $2.19 for a 12oz bottle from Hi-Time Cellars Costa Mesa, Ca.

12 oz bottle: Rather hazy medium yellow color with smallish off white head. Aroma has lots of sweet, resiny citrusy hops, hint of apricot and orange blossom honey. Flavor has some subtle maltiness, bit of herbal hops, some toasted malts, touch of honey. Finish is relatively balanced but with a firm bitterness.

Bottle: This medium-bodied IPA with a light off white head that quickly dissipated and a light amber color. Shows aromas and flavors of citus(grapefruit) and pine as well as some malt on the mid palate. A nicely balance IPA for being 9.5% ABV. Would love to try on tap.

This is my first sampling from this brand. Their IPA hits the mark. A real heavy aroma and the beer delivers - start to finish. The alcohol content is apparent and not well hid. But its a real nice american IPA

Strong aroma of piney hops backed by malt. Hazy apricot color with minimal whitish head. Starts with a bit of malt which is quickly superceded by piny hop. Mouthfeel is thinnish, getting thin after a bit. Finish seems balanced. The hop persists, but there is malt as well. Not so carried away to the hop extreme as so many of they type.
