Nice roast flavor to this porter. Great value as well, copped a 22 for 4 dollars at the local store. Overall its a pretty good porter, and not that this matters at all but I love the artwork on the bottle as well.

Black with a medium tan head, some lacing. Aroma of dark roasted malts, smoke and molasses. Very smooth and creamy to the palate, with strong roasted malts, smoke, leather, caramel, molasses, notes of coffee and chocolate. Hops are light, not much bitterness, the roasty malts are the 90% of it. Great ale.

UPDATED: DEC 24, 2016 Black body, minimal head. Spicy dark mocha aroma, Christmas-y, satisfying. Nice sweetness, but not cloying. And a real heat too, to balance. Lively brew actually! (66cl bottle from Saveur Bire)

300ml draught at The Flying Dog. A filmy layer covering a black body. Dotted spots on the glassware. Black malty smell, hints of chocolate and liquorice. Malt-driven taste with moments of dark bread, chocolate, and liquorice. Lingering roasted bitter endnotes. Well bodied. Rounded mouth feel. Enjoying (Stockholm 26.11.2016).
