On tap. Pours with a hazed orange hued body with a quick to fade off-white head. Aromas are sweet, butterscotch, spicy grainy, marmalade, caramel and orange. Quite sweet smelling. Flavors are sweet, bready, malty, orange, spicy rye and caramel. Relatively clean fermentation character. Fuller carbonation, medium to full bodied.
Slightly hazed bet pour with a khaki head. Quite buttery in the nose. Some sweet toffee, a bit of citric hop notes, and a light pine quality. Maybe a little bit of candied peach, too. The flavor has a fair amount of butter but is also decently hoppy. A good citrus peel quality, particularly tangerine and some light grass. Sweet bread and toasted malt with a mild pine note on the finish. jredmond (8204) - New York, New York, USA - SEP 15, 2012
