Slight caramely sweet aroma. Nice strong, almost citrus, hop bite. A good strong amber ale.

Pours a deep amber with a hint of brown. Decent brownish-white head that fades after the first minute. The aromas are of toasted malts and a strong, outstanding hop aroma, Im picking up chinook, or something with a huge alpha acid score. The taste starts of sweet from the malts, and a lot of pine and flowers from the overbearing hops, overbearing being good in this one. Mouthfeel is a little dry due to the hops, but is balance perfectly with the malt characteristics.

Color is amber with a thick foamy head that disappears quickly. Smells of grapefruit, mango and candy. A bit too sweet for me. Flavor is more confusing than complex. Hops are competing with citrus flavors, and neither flavor seems to be winning. There is also this annoying candy flavor in the background. All I can say for the mouthfeel is that it is wet. As awkward as this beer is, it is still drinkable, and perhaps even enjoyable. But I wont buy another six-pack.

Fruity, hoppy aroma with some caramel, citrus, piney hops. Very fruity. Flavor of cherry and dark fruits, big hops. Pine and grass, citrus and a bit of metal. Mild and drinkable. Fresh and crisp.

Pours a bright and deep reddish amber color, medium off-white head and lacing. Earthy aroma, some plums, difficult to place. Medium body, a mix a caramel and dark bread. Spicy, in a hops kinda way but also like earl gray tea (bergamot). I liked the earthiness here and the lingering bitterness. Agressive in a refined way.

A pleasant surprise amongst ambers. This was a bit more hopped than your traditional amber ale but not too much in that the expected malt would be diminished. This was a very good ale and could easily be a go-to on a hot summers day.

Nice lacing around perimeter of glass. Great hop/malt balance. Floral flavors very prominient from beginning to end. Very enjoyable. I have been generally impressed with Speakeasy's brews.

Big fruity, hoppy aroma. Light golden-reddish color. Flavor is well balanced with hops, pine and caramel notes. Hops may be a little overbearing for some but it works well here. A very appealing malt character gives this beer an eternal finish. This one goes great with chinese food by the way.
