COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Untouchable does justice to the American Pale Ale, enforcing a strict balance of arresting hop flavor and a smooth maltiness that's just undercover.

Very similar to Big Daddy IPA, golden in color, decent head retention, very soft & lacy head, floral hop aroma, highly hopped flavors, pretty decent balance, tangy & spicy aftertaste, good APA

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2005 Rerate: Good, upon multiple visits. Recalibration is necessary in the palate and appearance scores. Original: At the Brick in DC. Great and hoppy, but not quite unidimensional. Aroma: some grapefruit. Flavor begins to get balanced after some settling in. Almost creamy -- nice palate. Speakeasy has a ’house character’, methinks.

Honey colored. Nose has some citrus/floral characteristics.Creamy palate which I wasnt expecting but not not full bodied. Nice balance. Not a hop monster like Big Daddy.

Draught. Crisp and hoppy aroma, kind of like Pilsner Urquell in that regard, only hoppier. Small, white head; mostly diminishing. Clear yellow in color. Relatively hoppy flavor; kind of blah otherwise. Unspectacular. Still, a good session beer and not insulting. Great, bready finish with good hops.

The beer as it sets in my glass a translucent amber with a head the size of Texas, semi-creamy in texture and a beauteous light tan in color with the lace a thick and sticky blanket to cover the glass. Floral tones dominate this malt sweet nose, also crisp and fresh like a morning rain, start is sweet and rich in malt with the top moderate in body. The finish is mildly acidic, the hops delectable and spicy, clean and crisp aftertaste and a fine drinking beer from a favorite brewery, hope to be there in February to sample some of their fine beers on tap, been at least a lustrum

Wonderful looking orange color with a light creamy pillow head. Lots of citrus, and a light hop tang. Nice
