Standing face to face, an enduring rivalry reaches the breaking point.

Vendetta IPA is the taste of sweet revenge. Aggressively bitter with a cutthroat convergence of citrus and aromatic hops, Vendetta won’t soon be forgotten.

As the next in our Bootlegger Limited Series, we’re releasing an IPA with a vengeance. Legit since 1997, Speakeasy Ales & Lagers operates in the San Francisco district once known as Butchertown.

22 oz. bottle, pours a fairly clear golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out dry biscuity malt, light piney hops and some astringency. Flavour is grainy, with dry piney hops, some floral notes, and biscuity malt. Very dry, with a very grainy texture and no residual sweetness. Solidly made IPA here, but nothing special.

Pours a rich golden copper with a frothy tan head. Aroma of citrus. Taste is rich British malt and an aggressive orange citrus hop flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

jazz88 (2680) - San Francisco, California, USA - AUG 11, 2014
A hazy orange yellow color with a lush foamy white head. Very rich and delightful. This feels more like a double IPA. It has intense bitterness and a full bodied flavor packed into a 7.6% abv beer. A big citrus aroma (orange and pine).

tightslice (1313) - Redwood City, California, USA - AUG 10, 2014
Bottle pour. A clean, respectable IPA without too much bitterness. Crisp and drinkable.

Aromas of citrus, pine and caramel. Pours copper with thick white head. Bitterness balanced well with maltiness and alcohol. Decent IPA.

Brings the essence of beer. This beer will give you the smell, taste, and look of what a beer should be. It has a detailed taste that can turn disbelievers, but it’s mostly just a beer’s beer.

4.2
DocLock (10702) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 8, 2014
Bomber from Whole Foods. Pours copper with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is floral hops, piney. Tastes caramel malty, with a big floral explosion at mid-palate, ad some piney and fruity finishing notes. This one is great.
