los sabores a fruta y especies se le pasan la mano en el loose moose bar de toronto, frente al CN tower con una banda que tocaba musica de los 90s - coolness

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a hazy deep orange brown with a small tan head that clings to the glass. Nose is bread and sweet malt and dark fruit. Sweet with notes of spice that I would not have identified as cinnamon without reading the description. Slightly watery body with a quite short dry finish.

Bottle: Poured a brown color ale with a medium size foamy head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma consists of caramelized malt with light dry fruits with some light spices including cinnamon are also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by cinnamon with some caramel malt with medium residual sugar notes and some dry fruits notes also noticeable. Body is about average with good carbonation. Interesting mix of flavours but lacking a bit fo integration to make it truly remarkable.

Pours a murky brown with a very small head. Aroma has notes of figs, nuts, plums, raisins, and spice. Tasting notes include figs, nuts, plums, sweet malts. This beer tastes more like a bock than an ale! Excellent!!

355 mL bottle. Pours a hazy light brown with a short lived white cap. Aromas of dried fruit, nuts, baking spices and caramel malt. Slightly sweet with a lingering spiciness from the hop, only mildly bitter. Strangely thin bodied with moderate plus carbonation. Sticky on the palate. I remember liking this before, but not rating it. Less impressed this time. Not poorly made, just not interesting.

Slight spicy aroma. Deep clear brown colour. Flavours of dates, nutmeg, cinnamon and apple. Medium body with light carbonation. Damn solid!

I’d agree with a earlier comment : dirty brown in colour. Aroma of bread, yeast and some raisin and some white chocolate notes that I do enjoy. On the palate it proves medium bodied, with a slight sweetness of caramel and chocolate flavours and finishes with a slight bite on the finish. Enjoyable.

Pours dirty brown with a quickly disappearing white top. Aroma is faint nutty and sweetness. Taste is earthy and sickly sweet. Not for me.
