Pours dirty brown with a quickly disappearing white top. Aroma is faint nutty and sweetness. Taste is earthy and sickly sweet. Not for me.

6er from the lcbo. not much going on here, the aroma is quite muted. Light roasted nuts, some light grains. no spices or hops. The finish is again, almost mute. light grains, some light nutiness.....very boring.

Good beer overall. I would try it again. Not my new go to drink but overall it was a tasty beer.

355 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear mahogany colour with smallish off-white cap. Aroma is bread, caramel, dark fruit and brown sugar. Flavour is quite sweet and full of fruitiness and sugar with some gentle cinnamon and other spice. Body a little lighter than expected. Good.

On tap at Beertown Pretty typical sweet brown ale a little on the light side but still pretty good

Tessic (1249) - Brantford, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 29, 2013
This brown ale poured a dirty, dark red colour with a big, tan coloured, frothy head. To the nose there are scents of caramel, cinnamon, toast and nuts. First sip was very smooth with a nice lightly creamy mouthfeel. Tastes of caramel, toast and very small hint of cocoa. Finish is a little bitter with flavours of hops and caramel lingering.

Bottle. Medium amber, orange highlights. Aroma is very spicy, cinnamon and mace with brown sugary toasty malts. Palate is pretty much the same, not really feeling the figs. But a tasty brown regardless.

It pours almost opaque chestnut-brown with copper highlights; the head is bone-coloured and foamy. The aroma has notes of: toffee, pumpernickel bread, molasses, walnuts, and raisins. The taste is light sweet that finishes dry; There are notes of: dark-bread, cracker, toffee, and walnuts. The palate is medium-light bodied, has light carbonation, and a medium finish. Overall, meh.

Pours a dark orange brown with little cream head. Aromas of nuts, cinnamon and some more dark spices. Taste of a good brown ale with dark fruits like prune and raisin. Nice spice blend. Love this beer.

pours clear dark golden orange with a small creamy off-white head, some retention and lacing. spices - not quite discernable cinnamon, chipotle, fruitiness - bit of nuts, toasted cereals, metal, bit of garbage, pepper and boiled veggies. belgiumness. moderate to low carbonation, light body, herbal-grassy-spicy relatively short finish. #fail.
