(bottle) hazy amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of rotten peaches, sweet spices and heavy yeast, rather phenolic, with big notes of bread dough, some black pepper and zwieback. flavour is mostly the same, lots of leathery phenolics and rotten fruit, with a light hint of caramel, some orange peel and quite a bit of alcohol in the heavy-bitter finish. full-bodied with soft carbonation. Bottle. Pours clear golden with a small, creamy white head. Aroma has lots of leather, malts, sweetness. Low carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has lots of leather, malts. Horrible. MrHangover (4693) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - OCT 11, 2014
Botte. Pours a clear golden beer with a stable clear white head on top. Aroma is grainy, light vanilla and peachy as well. Flavor is sweet and yeasty, light subtleness and little German influences here. Not too interesting though.

Small sample from bottle at Camping Ratebeer ’14. Pours hazy orange with a small to medium white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with some yeast. Taste is malty and sweet with a quite high carbo. Medium body. deanso (10219) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - SEP 20, 2014

Thin creamy white head. Cloudy blond pour. It’s not as good as the German versions. Still fairly good but it misses something. EddyBeer1 (1058) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 8, 2014
Blonde dorée claire, effervescence moyenne, col blanc crémeux. Les malts pils s’imposent avec une petite amertume légèrement épicée, un peu de caramel, un rien fruitée bananes, pelures d’oranges, on cherche encore le "smoky touch"! SVD (2071) - NETHERLANDS - AUG 9, 2014
@ Camping Ratebeer, Yellow beer, aroma and taste is somewhat weizen, taste wasnt that obvious. meh bartlebier (4111) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - AUG 6, 2014
75cl bottle bb09/2014 shared @Tristate Tasting II, Freiburg. Looks fair enough...Only: how is a German (or any) yeast profile solely supposed to impart a smokey touch? - maybe some burnt TV plastic, at best. Flavour base is the same accidented ride as the others in the series: laden pale malts with some almond butter and floral hops with some citrus. Someone had a blasting vision with this series and now its backfire is a drainpour.
