Fles gedeeld met Inoven BartvG en JoepvW. Het is een donker amberkleurig bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een peperachtige geur. De smaak is vol, koffie en kruidig, veel peper in de nasmaak.

Inoven (936) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - NOV 5, 2017
Fles gedeeld door Tomhendriksen en gedronken met familie. Donker amberkleurig bier met matig schuim. Aroma van koffie en donker fruit. Smaak is zoet en kruidig. De nasmaak is iets te peperachtig.

ciocanelu (2957) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - OCT 27, 2017
Hazy dark amber color with beige head. Aroma has sweet toasted malt and brown sugar with a generic fruit note. Taste has yeast notes, bitter and earthy mostly, a bit woody and spicy. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. A decent Belgian ale but it's quite generic overall.

Tasting at SF, Vancouver; tagged 2017-04
Amber color, cloudy, small compact head. Smell of anise and cleaning product. Medium body strength, nice malt flavor, quite dirty, soap, the spices are off-putting.

750ml @ the office. Pours a mostly cloudy medium brown with a thin beige head. Nose is lightly spice and Belgian yeast with a biscuity bready note. Flavour is fairly mild overall, lightly spiced and bready. For the abv it is very smooth however the flavour is not really jumping out in any way.

Oakes (18873) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 5, 2017
Light brown. Figgy, slight anise, cinnamon, toffeeish malts. Sweet, some spice, lots of sweetness, it's a good sweetness. I like it,

750ml bottle from Silpo (thx, Vlad!) at Brian's office. Pours a murky brown with a tan head. Aroma is spicy and fruity. Similar taste with caramel and some bready notes. This one is quite nice.

mcberko (18999) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 5, 2017
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out anise, nutmeg, Belgian yeast, and candied sugar. Flavour is loaded with anise and nutmeg, with candied sugar and Belgian yeast. Spicy and appropriately sweet. I kind of like the spices here, even if it's not really my thing generally. Good stuff.

tapefuzz (827) - Massachusetts, USA - SEP 22, 2017
Draught. Pours reddish-amber with a moderate beige head. Aroma is yeast, nutmeg, light floral hops, some cinnamon, and light raisin. Taste is spice, nutmeg, raisin, yeast, toffee, and bread. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel.
