Beautiful amber color; generous creamy head. Malt aroma, bread. Smooth, quite malty, a lot of caramel, some sweetness in the front, correctly balanced at the end, without being outstanding.

This is not the way I celebrate Christmas. Too lightweighted and please more hops next season.

The Christmas 2002 had many beers, much more fulbodied than this one, thin with too much sweetness in the end.

motelpogo (7705) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - DEC 9, 2002
my mate sebastian bought this at ikea in berlin of all places. looked like coke and smelled of rye and brown sugar. drinkable enough. hinted at rich roasted flavours but never really delivered. if it had a bit more kick to it it could be quite a good beer
