gyllenbock (9177) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 27, 2012
Sample at a tasting at Systembolaget in October 2012.
Clear dark amber with a sligtly tan head. Rather sweet with notes of toffee, roasted malt and bread. The finish was dry. Drinkable but boring. No spices in this one.

Canned. A dark brown coloured beer with alarge tan coloured head, but this dissipates fairly quickly. The aroma is malty and fruity and maybe a little burnt. The taste is malty and sweet. Some nutty notes and some caramel. Really very drinkable and nicely tasty. Much better than expected. Cool. Cuso (8691) - Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - MAY 8, 2010
Can. Ruby color with a big light brown head. Fruity aroma. Taste sweet malty, fruity taste. Sweet finish. DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JAN 18, 2009
Can, New Year’s Eve. Ruby with white lid, specks of lace. Soap, caramel, cooked malts, possibly faint English hop aroma. Crunch of locust bean. Gentle berry fruit, soapdish, wax, caramel, biscuit. Bit of shampoo bitterness. Polite, competent, dull. Something like a tinned Czech dark. No glaring off-notes. Splash of pasteurised Shep Neame. OK I suppose. Dark brown/reddish coloured, medium sized white head, weak weak malty nose. Very watery, light malty and some random touch of spices in the finish. Also some descreet hops notes. Have I forgot to tell it’s watery.
my mate sebastian bought this at ikea in berlin of all places. looked like coke and smelled of rye and brown sugar. drinkable enough. hinted at rich roasted flavours but never really delivered. if it had a bit more kick to it it could be quite a good beer AndySnow (7646) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - MAR 30, 2017
How: Can.Finn (7547) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 2, 2007
Appearance: Amber colour with an off-white head.
Aroma: Sweet malt, bread.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Malt, some fruit, a bit metallic.
Bottled 0,33l. Dark red brown coloured. A creamy head. Rich malty aroma and a sweet bitter flavour. Ending in a sweet way. Thanks to Rune for the lunch invitation and the beer. larsga (7540) - Oslo, NORWAY - JAN 8, 2009
Big yellow-beige coarseish head. Barely translucent dark red body with carbonation. Fruity roasty buttery aroma, kind of weak, with chocolatey papery notes. Dry-sweetish roasty buttery wild berry taste kind of clashes with itself, and with the dry roasty papery cinnamon aftertaste that follows. Some raisins and coke, too. Mid-to-full body. Decent, in a way, but didn’t enjoy that much. (0.5l can, Systembolaget, Charlottenberg.)
