Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo ma spora i bardzo, bardzo trwala piane. Barwe brazowo ciemno miedziana. W smaku prazone orzechy ziemne otoczone karmelem, nieco suszonych daktyli i rodzynek, lekko wytrawno kwaskowe nawet jest, z poczatku przypominalo klasycznego dunkela ale slodowosci nieco bylo mniej i ten kwaskowy herbaciany finisz. On tap at the brewhaus. Served a deep mahogany color with a creamy head and some lacing. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, bit of caramel and nuts. Taste of malt, some caramel sweetness, dark fruit, nuts and trace of chocolate in the background. Mild bitterness and a dry finish. Mediumbody, smooth and creamy. Quite robust for a German beer. Nut brown color, small steady off-white head. Bready and papery aroma with notes of yeast. Light to medium-bodied. Some caramel, toasted breadyness. Sweetish finish. Light herbal hoppyness. Drinkable but a bit meh.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Brewpub draft. Clear deep amber beer, little pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and dry. Tangy dark malts, mellow. Very slight sourness. Little caramel and dried fruits. Light dry finish. Interesting.
Bamberg Jolly Day 1 at Sperber in Sulzbach-Rosenberg 24/1/14. Aroma is sweet treacle, worty, caramel and hazelnut. Clarish red brown coloured pour with a persistent cream head. Flavour is nutty malty, caramel, slightly sweet edge. Yeast esterss are kept in check which is pretty good. Mid palate, lowish carb and semi sweet finish. Solid.

Nose is nutty, caramel, vanilla essence, almond notes, toffee.
Taste comprises dark toffee fudge, brown sugars, brown bread, sweet tones.
Medium bodied, fine to soft carbonation, smooth on the palate.

At the brewpub during Jolly to Bamberg 2014. Clear amber beer with an offwhite/beige head. Malty caramel aroma, toffee, Cream, roasted notes some chocolate. Roasted malt flavor, caramel, raisins, chocolate, toffee, vanilla notes. On the sweet side.
