Bottle. Pours a dark mahogany color with a big foamy head that slowly fades to bits of lacing. Aroma of dark fruit, caramel, bit of roasted malt with a bit of spice. Taste of caramel sweetness, nuts, dark fruit and bit malty. Mild bitterness with a fairly dry finish. Medium body, smooth, and a bit of sweetness throughout. Nice beer but nothing that will wow you.

Quack-Duck (9625) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 9, 2013
bottle from mein-biershop. Hazy deep brown, creamy beige head. Chocolate, caramel, coffee and dried fruit, full-bodied and slightly yeasty. A dark delight.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 5, 2013
It’s unclear brown-black with a red hue and a huge head. The aroma has notes of yeast, roasted malt, caramel and fruit. The sweet flavor has notes of yeast, licorice, caramel, fruit, and the finish is slightly dry with a hint of licorice and yeast. A very pleasant and different dunkel Weizen.
