Draught @ Spezial. Clear dark amber colour with small head. The flavour is smokey and malty, but quite mild. Taste is really light. yespr (45785) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2010
From tap Ølbaren. Pours clear and golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is breadish malty and light smoked. Dry wooden smoked, breadish malty and slight caramelish. Bitter and slight metallic. Slight citric note into a dry and wooden smoked finish. Ungstrup (37867) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 12, 2005
An amber beer with a disappearing orange head. The aroma is slightly smoked combined with notes of caramel. The flavor contains lots of caramel as well as some smoke. The mouthfeel is very smooth, but the body is thin. A very easily drinkable and enjoyable beer. joergen (28394) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2005

Bottled. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is salts, smokey and leathery. Flavour is leather, smoke and malts. Like a Schlenkerla on water and animal fur. omhper (25249) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 29, 2002
Pale brown. Light bodied, softly malty with nice light smokeyness. I sampled this on draught at the brewery, and was only mildly impressed, as I found it a bit too subtle, and I would have preferred both a dash more malt and smoke.

(Bottle 50 cl) Dark amber with a small, white head. Smoky nose. Lightly sweetish, malty flavour with pronounced smoked notes, a bit flat. Rather light body and a very subdued bitterness. Quite a pleasant "Rauchbier". 300605 madmitch76 (24980) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 10, 2011

A slightly smoky lager. Not bitter. A bit non descript. I don’t get this beer - who wants a smoky lager?
Bottle at home ... light smokey nose ... quite fruity ... little juicy ... light lager hop ... some wood ... touch smoked fishy decent and inoffensive. smokeyness is light enough to be intersting.
