Growler shared at RBWG! Pours a translucent copper with fluffy off-white head and light lacing. Aroma of fresh hoppy resins and a good caramel and crystal malt back. Taste follows, really hoppy and resinous, fresh and clean with a good bitter finish. If it weren’t for the low alcohol I would call this a solid IPA. Sledutah (7979) - Utah, USA - FEB 28, 2013

12oz bottle pours a lightly hazy caramel amber with some sudsy, lacing white head. Nose is ok, citrus peel, blood orange, a little hay, a little dusty, grapefruit zest. Flavor is the same, something a bit like Orval which makes me think this is either an old bottle or slightly infected, heavy blood orange, dried lemon peel, a little ginger. Medium bodied, dry finish. Something a bit off. cauribe (3) - New York, USA - OCT 27, 2012 does not count
Tap at The Green Growler NY. Great aroma and great taste. Very drinkable and refreshing. I will have one more very soon. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2012
12oz bottle from jtclockwork, thanks James! Pours a cloudy, copper-gold colored body with a finger-width, frothy and foamy, dirty white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma has a bready caramel sweetness with a good amount of grapefruit and melon. Fairly grassy with some florals and maybe a touch of toast. Flavor is similar. Lots of grassy, somewhat herbal grapefruits with a slight melon floral. Decent bready caramel malt backing with a touch of toast towards the end as this finishes very dry with a medium-high bitterness, but a light caramel to keep things in check for the most part. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a pretty solid pale ale. Fairly bitter and dry with a good amount of grassy grapefruits and florals as well as a lightly toasted, bready caramel malt backing. Not bad.
