3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Growler from Big Z Beverage in Huntington (Long Island), NY. Copper colored beer with a fluffy, white head. Pleasant floral and fruity American hop aroma, caramel malts playing along. Flavor starts out with some malty sweetness and then gets intertwined with a solid dose of fresh, green hops. This then fades into some firm bitterness with a pleasant drying in the finish. The beer is on the lighter side of medium bodied with soft carbonation, which makes the beer drinkable as all hell. Well done, I wish I had regular access to this
UPDATED: JAN 14, 2018 12 oz bottle from beer of the month. Copper pour with off white fairly long lasting head. Malt forward with a nicely balanced citrus hop bitter finish. I enjoyed this a lot. BierMeHoos (650) - Maryland, USA - DEC 7, 2017
Where: A gift enjoyed by the in-laws, tasting club service. How: 12 ounce bottle. Appearance is fairly clear deep copper color with a off-white head that settled to a layer leaving a "web" of lacing. Aroma is earthy with some citrus rind. Taste is starts out with a sourdough taste and finishes with citrus rind bitterness. Palate is thin body, thin feel. Overall, love trying new beers, not bad at all.

12oz bottle. Pours a murky dull amber with a negligible white head. Aroma is syrupy sweet citrus, resin, and dough. Taste is caramel malt and sweet citrusy fruit with a little dough and a lot of pine. Long, bitter piney/earthy finish. Light body. Prickly carbonation. Slick mouthfeel; sort of creamy. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - OCT 22, 2016
Bottle. Orange, caramel malt, and weedy hay aroma. Amber with large light tan head. Moderately sweet orange/mango, caramel malt, and moderately bitter hay/quinine flavor. Okay body and balance. Decent. Patrickctenchi (6806) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - OCT 12, 2016
Clear, copper-amber with a thick beige head.
Earthy caramel malt aroma.
Taste is toasty caramel malt, slightly nutty.....
Starts out a bit watery, but after a bit of warming it starts coming around....Strongly malty....mild earthy bitterness.
More along the lines of a hoppy amber...pretty good.

Rating #1866 - 2015.08.24 - Bottle from CBI.- Goldenpour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly. hops are very fragrant with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and bitter hops on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Delicious. pintbypint (3921) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - APR 1, 2016
12oz brown bottle. Poured out a hazy amber colour, thin and low sitting white cap with no lacing in the glass. Aroma has some fruity and sweet notes with citrus. Taste has caramel malt with citrus and pine notes. Mild bitterness. Light bodied. An easy drinking pale ale, a bit on the malty side. Beerathon (1680) - Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 3, 2015
Pleasantly surprised with the crispness of this pale ale. Nice malts along with assertive enough hop profile. Totally crushable. jb (3445) - Rochester, New York, USA - AUG 8, 2015
After a really good stone apa this was not as good but it is decent. Malt heavy and clean but with that off mineral taste that seems to come with German hops. drsandman (1671) - New York, USA - AUG 2, 2015
Pours a deep orange Amber, thin slightly off white head. Aroma is bread, biscuit, earthy malt, faint pine. Flavor is bitter earthy malt, pine, minerals, stale bread, malt bomb. Fairly hoppy, but really aggressive malt profile.
