RBSG 06. Light amber with off-white head. The aroma is citrus, floral, some caramel. The flavor is fairly dry, grapefruit. Light bodied, sparkling, bitter end.
Draft. Clear orange in color. Aroma is candied oranges, weak grass, maybe herbal. ozzy70 (1170) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - JUN 17, 2016
The flavor is kind of herbal with mild citrus. Thin body, watery. Not offensive. But not very good.
Tap at Duffy’s Tavern, Lincoln, while watching Cass and her band. Poured dark amber, small but very lasting off white head. Lots of lacing all the way. Aroma is hoppy, floral. Taste was sweeter, malty. MetalNHopHead (2020) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - AUG 25, 2015
Yeesh. I thought the Founders ReDANKulous I just reviewed had an unwieldly name. The Founders got a pass because it at least delivers on its silly name. There’s no such redemption for Hopluia. For me, this beer was not especially hoppy or praiseworthy. I wanted far more crispness, bitterness, and aromatics. Damn shame, too. The glass bottles of this beer are pretty cool. Too bad looks aren’t everything. In better news, names aren’t everything, either. HuskerTan (2212) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - AUG 23, 2015
A- Caramel, subtle bitterness.
A- Amber color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Caramel, black pepper, slightly bitter, slightly sweet.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish.
O- Not near as bitter as I expected with the name. Pretty subtle and even a bit on the sweet side. Travlr (25269) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 22, 2015
Draft at Crescent Moon courtesy of Jared & HuskerTan, thank you!Clear golden color, tan head. Aroma of light fruit. Taste is dank and oniony.

Orange with lots of foam. Little aroma, and fair taste for a IPA.
Bottle from Omaha, thanks Americo. Just OK drinkability. jeremyh70 (1103) - Missouri, USA - MAY 8, 2015
On tap at Crescent Moon 5-2-15. A mostly clear copper with an off white head and decent lacing. Light aroma of citrus and grass but not much else. Taste leans toward balance with some malt sweetness and citrus and earthiness from the hops. Unimpressive and average. BVery (10609) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - SEP 18, 2014
Tap at Krug Park. Murky orange pour with a small soapy white head. Lime and citrus aroma. Taste and mouthfeel is kinda flat. PhilJackson80 (531) - Oklahoma, USA - MAY 16, 2014
22 oz bomber. Tasted on 5/16/14. Beer from Beertopia Omaha, NE. The aroma was almost sour with a tart grape or sour apple. Not sure the age of thus beer but wasn't hoppy at all on the aroma. The taste was again fairly bland for a beer called Hopluia. I wasn't a fan of this beer.

Tried at Omaha draft beer week. Hopluia uses a rare method of dry hopping that works in the secondary fermentation and is brewed with two different yeast strains. The result is a hoppy beer of immense taste.
