Cask Conditioned at J.D. Wetherspoon - Hamilton Hall, LondonEthereal (2421) - Los Angeles, California, USA - JAN 2, 2009
Golden to amber color. After a mild caramel aroma, comes a very good caramel flavor, partially sweet and a bit fruity, sugary; refreshing and well pleasant.
Cask at the Railway, Putney, "Mopping up the Spoons fest", 15th Nov 08. Golden amber with a firm white head. Malty nose, smooth palate and a decent enough hop finish but overall rather bland and manufactured. Needs more rough edges! cgarvieuk (24462) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 1, 2009

A Mes rate: cask at Baker Street ’Sporks.hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 27, 2008
Clean golden brown with no head what so ever. Nutty and bready malt with some faint sweet fruity notes. Nothing special by any means. One dimensional and boring.
Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes in Wetherspoons BF ’08. Coppery gold with a small white head. Complex aroma can be summed up as earthy malt with rubber sole, throat lozenge and dusty bus upholstery. Taste by comparison is straightforward: sweet, oily honey malt with some bitterness. Quite good.
