Cask (Crafty Crow, Nottingham) - Ruby in colour. Raisins, caramel and a faint hint of coffee in the aroma. Fruity and slightly roasted taste with toffee, chestnuts and cocoa detected.

Aroma: light alcohol, caramel malts, some flowery hops. Appearance: dark clear amber, small beige creamy head. Taste: medium sweet. Palate: very malty, sweet, bread, Overall: very nice Mild, great palate. Pint at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, Nottingham.

On gravity, at Barrow Hill Beer Festival - Dark red-black body, diminishing white head. Aroma of Peaty, smoky malt, vanilla and chocolate. Flavour similar but with a refreshing fruity hop finish with some acidity. Not bad at all.
