Darker than usual cider.small head even.
Nice mellow apple aromas, with some toffee acccents.
Mellow sweetness, not too artificial, like a Mt Fuji apple taste, again some spice and toffee ..caramel even.
Very nice on the palate for a cider, considerably more body than most.
Overall an excellent American cider. I enjoyed this BückDich (5477) - McCall, Idaho, USA - DEC 13, 2008
Tap @ The Front Door: A drier cider but with a mellow spice and dry yeast note. Seems like a hybrid caramellized amber ale with cider but with a dry french cider body. Good! BuckeyeBoy (8860) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 9, 2008
On Tap at The Front Door Boise. Pours out a nice clear amber topped with no head. Aroma of sweet apples and molasses. Tast more of the sweetness and the apples once again. Not to bad. ajm (1072) - Los Angeles, California, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Tap at Henry’s. Not the best cider I’ve had. In fact, the most disappointing since it promised me dark & dry and only the color was delivered on. Rather sweet, rather lacking on apple and pretty one-dimensional. Enniskillen (2061) - Bakersfield, California, USA - JUL 25, 2008
Amber with no head. Aroma is a lot of brown sugar, apple, red apples, aroma is like an ice cider. Taste is red apples, light molasses, brown sugar. Not as good as the aroma.

Thanks to Dave at By The Bottle for this cider in a 22-oz. bottle. Poured a dark amber body. No head. Apple and toffee nose with a hint of molasses and brown sugar. Sweet, juicy apples. Great, dry, spicy flavor. presario (4925) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 11, 2008
22oz bottle. Dark amber. Slight carbonation maintains a hint of foam around the edges. Good apple scent with a dark depth that may come from the molasses. A bit of a lively mouth feel. Dark sweetness, apples and a warm spice. Like a cold spiced apple pie. glkaiser (1214) - Seattle, Washington, USA - APR 7, 2008
First tried on tap at Hops and Props, and then realized I had a couple of 22oz in the fridge I’d never opened. Clear, dark golden with thin head. Aroma of sweet apples. Taste is a mix of brown sugar sweetness and apple. Smooth, and a bit vinous. I think this is the only cider I’ve ever actually enjoyed. It won’t knock the beer out of my hand very often, but it’s a nice change of pace.
