COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dry’s assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike.

Bottle. Dark, pretty average on all counts. Didn’t spend much time on this because it has, among other things, carmel color. Why? Meh.

Bottle share by Bob, smells like apples and cinnamon. Taste is similar, bit of an apple pie filling taste, excellent cider. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bomber to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a fairly transparent deep copperish brown with light beige lacing and lively carbonation. Smells solid; a nice fresh apple presence with a bit of molasses. Tastes like it smells with a bit of brown sugar too. Solid on the palate. An enjoyable cider.

Bottle pour..darker than expected even with the dark and dry moniker..dark brownish copper ruby hue..aroma of apples..slight tart..perhaps traces of the molasses and brown sugar..mouthfeel is ok..it is dry..yet doesn’t seem to have that high quality fresh pressed apple linger and taste..slight cinnamon as well..

arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - JUL 1, 2013
Pours a dark chocolate brown color with a hint of red. Aroma is apples, sugar, molasses, and caramel. The taste is sweet and crisp. Brown sugar, caramel, apples. There’s a lot to like here. I’m really digging this cider. A bit on the sweet side but if you like that sort of thing this cider has a lot going for it.

brokensail (16633) - Dublin, California, USA - JUN 24, 2013
Amber, maybe cola colored pour. Sweet caramel, some apple, spices, and brown sugar. Maybe a bit of a cola note to it. The flavor is sweet, but not cloying. Cola, brown sugar, apple, and a subtle spice.

Bomber. Ruby red. Tiny tan head that dissipates quickly. Apple, vanilla, little bit of charcoal. Nice.

Bomber - Pours ruby red with a ring of tan head. Nose is apple cider, tart with a dry white grape note. Taste is dry with mineral notes, some red apple skins and flesh, light tartness. Real mellow and smooth, without much of an aftertaste. Light body and nice carbonation. Solid.

651mL Pours ridiculously deep, clear cola brown. Big carbonation and actually a large tan head forming and quickly dissipating. Darkest cider I’ve seen in awhile. Nose is dusty, apple skin, baby powder, decent. Taste is watery and bland, not much substance, some cinnamon. But overall it tastes more like freezer veggies and sparkling apple seltzer.
