COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dry’s assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike.

Pours a very dark brown cola ruby .. . not a lot of foam .. . the added sugar/molasses is great and not overdone at all .. . quite a rich cider, and not as dry as i expected .. . a winner, a great cider and even though not a huge fan of hot cider, i think this would work great for that .. . .
Do you know what it’s like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don’t, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that’s a dumb question... skip that.

Pours an amazing rich dark reddish brown. Aromas of apple, brown sugar, toffee, cinammon. Taste - liquid apple pie. Sweet, rich, flavourful, and somehow bready (pie crust!). Really unusual cider, but drinkable and enjoyable.

Bottle shared by Dallas. Pours a dark copper color. A rich sweet nose with some apples and bready notes. The flavor is quite nice: seemingly caramel malts, sugary, toast, massive sweet apples. Nice. I wonder what’s in here to get the darker color?

Draught at Mckay’s Taphouse, Bellingham
Dark amber color, with creamy head. Never had a dark cider like this before; it has a moderate aroma of red apples, and very light hazelnuts; sweetish flavor, with nice flavor of red apple juice.
More fruit juice than cider.

Contains added brown sugar and molasses. Cloying sweet. Disgusting and undrinkable.

Dark wood-amber with a decent head for a cider. Apple nose that veers towards jolly rangerland. Sweet and candy-apple flavor. Jolly-ranger finish. Not bad, but rather artificial tasting.

gramity (1684) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - AUG 29, 2012
Clear amber/brown with a fizzy head that quickly dissipates to a small ring. Aroma of ripe apples, chardonnay wine and light caramel. Flavor of sweet baked apples and then finishes a bit dry and tart. Medium to light body with light carbonation and a dry finish. This is nice, not overly sweet and quite drinkable.
