Savor this refreshing glass of complexity. Dark & Dry’s assertive tartness is pleasingly balanced by a hint of molasses and brown sugar. More rounded and intricate than its sister ciders, this potion will appeal to beer aficionados, wine devotees, and cider enthusiasts alike.

Dark red body with a thin thin ring of white bubbles around the edge of the glass. A bit of fresh apples in the aroma, but also some canned apple juice. Rather sweet, apples of course. A bit dry at the finish. Nice and easy drinking.

22 ounce bottle purchased at Total Wine Pembroke Pines, FL for $3.99 Very good, not dry.

Bottle. Poured a soda brown with a quick off-white head. Sweet aroma of apple and hints of brown sugar. Flavor of apple and a backing of other dark fruits. Light body and sweet throughout.

Very good. Not as complex as the bottle would have me think. Color is dark, and I can almost taste that hint of molasses and brown sugar, but something about it tastes watered down. Maybe it’s the low alcohol content.

Alphadelic (2249) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 5, 2011
It’s kinda dark. Apples and a hint of spent sugar on the nose. Sweeeeeeeet sugary sweet. There is a hint of chalky dryness in the finish. Thick and heavy. Some toffee. A bit too sticky for me.

I found this enjoyable. It’s not a GREAT cider but it is one that begs to be taken seriously, which is not characteristic of most U.S ciders. Dark color breaks from the mold, too; I didn’t see this as that dry. On tap at Quinn’s, Seattle.

dimenhetfield (2554) - , Florida, USA - AUG 21, 2011
22oz bottle poured into snifter. Dark color, almost murky brown. Good carbonation. Aroma has hints of apples and spice. The flavor wasn’t as dry as I was expecting which made for a really interesting drink. One of the better ciders I’ve tried lately.

thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - AUG 14, 2011
(22oz bottle thanks to bu11zeye) clear medium brown with bubbles lining the glass but no head. Nose of apple skin, plastic, a bit of brown sugar also. Taste of sweet apples, caramel, sugar, and fermented apples. Nice linger with soft carbonation.

bottle 12/26/10 pretty dark for a cider... brown and coppery. sweet smell of smashed apples, brown sugar, wood, graham crackers and flowers. the flavor is the same but with an added note of vanilla and some coffee-like nuttiness in the aftertaste. it is sweeter than expected but it does finish off fairly dry. it is medium bodied and rich... sugar provides some depth. 7/4/8/4/16
