Apple and some floral smells on the nose. Smells a little like a white wine with a slight woodiness. Very smooth with slight bitterness. Ferris (17939) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 20, 2017
Draft - Lots of citrus and perfumy tropical fruit. Clear gold. Bitter and fruity with citrus and tropical notes. Really nice. Spab (4345) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2015
750 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear, ultra pale straw colour with thin white head. Aroma is earthy, vinous and appley with a light, green hoppiness. Flavour has a very interesting white wine like character with earthy apple skin, apple, green grape, some flowers and a gentle bitterness. Modest carbonation. Nice stuff. On cask at bar volo. Funk aroma. Strong cider with interesting hop overlay so drinkable stuff. DuffMan (10983) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 14, 2014
Bottle, shared with Grippitis and Mike. Pale yellow with fine carbonation. Unexpectedly funky aroma, not barnyard really, but not truly sour either. Beguiling. The palate is not really reflective of the nose, more straight up apples with champagne yeast, tart skins, a bit of dill in the finish. The sweet apples seem to eclipse the hops here, but there is a unique character to this cider that is quite compelling. Cool stuff.

[5962-20131020] Cask. Apple juicy aroma. Clear, pale yellow body with no lasting head. Sweet apple syrup flavour. Medium body. Good, couldn’t really pick out the hopping. (7/3/7/3/14) 3.4

750 mL bottle, marked 6.9%. Clear, lighter than straw with a 10 second head of foam. The hops must be fading on this one. Some light piney-citrus tones but thats all. House ST briny-iness/funk that I like. Lightly sweet, apple, honeysuckle, floral tones. Off-dry. Moderate carbonation and body. Not bad, would love more lupulin punch. robinvboyer (4849) - Sturgeon Falls, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 1, 2014
Bottle from the lcbo.
Very light pour, looks like bud light. Aroma is tart, and tangy. Some pungent green hop aromas with some tart apple skins. The body is crisp, and the mouth feel is vibrant. The finish is a perfect balance of pungent super fresh, green hop cones, and tart apples. Very refreshing and crisp. Great stuff! DerWeg (1774) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 6, 2014
Cider Fest 2014, tasted like the regular Spirit Tree Cider and smelled like it., which is to say not bad but a little flawed, watery and tedious compared to better ones like West Avenue. I really wish this had one detectible whiff of some hop character, it’s completely clear and does not seem dry hopped in the least. Fabian did someone flop kegs? I was really concerned this was a mix up, but am rating as is where is. ** add note - I liked the 2011 version better, speaking of regular Pub Style version.
