COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The light carbonation of this distinctly draught cider awakens your senses to experience bold apple flavour followed by hints of honey and spice. Brewed on-site from 100% freshly pressed apple juice slowly aged in our cellar, Spirit Tree Draught Cider is a welcome taste of tradition for the modern palate. The Draught Cider is a traditional medium dry cider produced from a unique blend of Cortland, Gala, Golden Delicious, Northern Spy, Golden Russet and Chisel Jersey apples. It has a nose of green apple, spice and hay. The taste is bold and tart with a long finish hinting of cinnamon and nutmeg. Enjoy Spirit Tree Draught Cider on its own or with pub fare.

Cannette LCBO.

Pours a clear straw colour with a bubbly head. Aroma notes include apple, honey, and some florals. Tasting notes include tart apple, apple peel, honey, and some tannins. Please let carbonated with slightly dry finish.

I first got hip-to-the-blip on this Cidery while hiking on the Bruce Trail. Trail goes right by it. It’s pretty well the gold standard in Ontario ciders for me. Nice range of offerings & always tasteful & well made. This is no exception. Straight forward pub option cider that beats the competition. Not too sweet, real apples, reserved carbonation. The fact that this isn’t in my local work pub is distressing.

On tap at beer bistro. Clear white wine looking light gold, tart musty apple nose. Nice light refreshing body, silky. The flavor is much nicer than the nose: tart sweet apples, semi-sweet/dry finish, acidic. Decent.

341 mL bottle at the Queen and Beaver pub in Toronto, served in an English pint. Pours clear straw with a small sparkly head that fades quickly. The nose has nice apple combined with blossoms and a touch of peel. The flavour is fairly sweet with delicate apple and a touch of tartness. Towards the end, it acquires a crisp minerality. The finish is brief and crisp. On the palate it is light in body with a dryish texture and sparkling carbonation. Overall a nice light cider that is in the sweeter side. 2014-06-23

341 ml bottle from LCBO. Pours a clear, very pale, golden straw colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma is gently tart apple and honey. Flavour is tart apple, a nice, not-overpowering earthy/farmy character and hints of other tree fruits. Light carbonation, solid body. Nice cider.

Very pale colour. Crisp, appley, dry...not super complex but quite drinkable.

On tap at Volo. Clear with a light green tinge. Earthy apple, seems like a bit of cherry, slightly sweet, becomes dry but becomes thin with a sour tease but quite easy to drink. Would like some of these to make appearance in Ottawa.

Acidic and fruity scent. Clear golden colour. Sweetness and cinnamon flavour at the front, with apple and honey on the finish. Medium body with mild carbonation. Very different tasting cider.
