Sampled at the brew resturant.
Small off white head. Red-brown color. Low roasted malt aroma and taste. Slim body and low bitterness. A bit thin in all parameters but easy to drink. Perun (198) - Rostov-on-Don, RUSSIA - JUL 22, 2016
Резкий, горький, а хмеля нет sturmthis (1149) - Bavaria, GERMANY - APR 17, 2016
On draft. Cola color with one finger off white head. Malty aroma. Roasted maltiness flavor. This a pretty good dunkel. Ritzn (1311) - GERMANY - MAR 29, 2016
Dark bronze with little white head. Heavy maltiness, dried fruit and roast. Also little hay hop aroma. Very sweet but not too much. Little sourness and bitterness. Overall decent! JorisPPattyn (9928) - Ursel, BELGIUM - OCT 11, 2015
Draught Very huge dense light-beige head over deep brown beer with a reddish sheen; lacerings. Huge head hampers nasal perception. Chestnut, chocolate, and other dark malts. Sweetish, nutty & bready, again chocolate, even some mocha. Medium bodied at best, but quite slick; again better carbonated in feel than visual. Quite nice Dunkles!
Reconqvista (339) - Madrid, SPAIN - APR 27, 2015
Bright brown color beer with a light brown head going away quickly. Aroma is light roaste malt and caramel with odd grass notes. Flavor is sweet caramel, heavy. Hop notes at the short end. Very oily body and low carbonation. TBone (17440) - Pori, FINLAND - MAR 24, 2015

Deep ruby colot, small off-white head. Aroma has caramel and light coffee. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramel in the front, then toasted/coffeish flavors. Clean, decent dunkel. Easily could order another one.
500 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A. Pours a copper colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet syrupy maltiness, some roastiness and grass. Flavour of toasted malts, syrup, grassy bitterness and some bread. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. Smooth. olio (10167) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 16, 2014
50 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 02.03.2015.MartinT (9851) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - OCT 17, 2014
Pours dark copper color with a small head. Bready aroma, some malts, mild fruity notes, hay and some nuts, distant berries too on the background. Malty flavor, slightly watery, dark fruit notes, some hay and distant sweet chocolate. Slick palate, soft carbonation. Nice but a bit watery.
My Bottom Line:
Lengthy malt flavors share hazelnuts, toast and grilled marshmallows, as cherry-like Munich malt angles take you into even more enjoyment.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam decorates the clear mahogany, producing some lacing.
-The mouthfeel is silky and refined.
-The finish is surprisingly dryish considering the nature of the flavors evoked.
-Drinkability is very high.
-Like Helles, this is one that needs to be drunk fresh at the pub.
On tap at Spitalgarten.
