mjs (7264) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 14, 2013
(Keg at the brewpub, 20130514) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized, dense and white. Aroma had grass, malts and bitterness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, sweetness, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, grassy and bitter. A bit like a helles with more malts. Nice to drink.

3.4
ganache (5896) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2012
Tap in the Biergarten. Clear golden with lots of carbonation and a large fluffy white lacing head. Sweet taste with light floral hops but predominately a beautiful, very sweet clover honey. A gorgeous character. Full body with bubbles crisping around the side. Heavy but very much recommended.

3.4
KyotoLefty (10254) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 3, 2010
Draught at the Spitalgarten. Clear, brilliant gold, like the regular hell, but with a rockier head. Similar grassy hop aroma as well, but with more noticeable malt and a bit of hay. Sweeter, slightly stronger and maltier, but not too sweet or cloying. Rather light and crisp for a bock, with an ok hop and alcohol finish. Sense of alcohol is more like a festbier than a bock.
