Had on draft...banana flavor is very subtle, I think the power of suggestion is involved. The flavor of banana is maybe slightly apparent if you smack your lips after the sip. It is good, hints of bitter chocolate and a little coffee. Dark
In color, a touch metallic. Good not brilliant.
Toffee sugar and cocoa aroma. Black pour with off white head from 22oz bottle at Lakehouse. Banana and chocolate flavor as the name says pretty spot on. Good stuff hopscotch (11049) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - AUG 10, 2015
Bottle... Pours dark brown (nearly black) with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is chocolaty and nutty with a whispers of both a yeast-driven banana note and sweet, dark berries. Full-bodied and silky smooth with adequate carbonation. The flavor features sweet chocolate, toasted nuttiness and lightly bitter roastiness. Lengthy, bittersweet finish - more sweet than bitter. Bottle courtesy of BBB63! Damico (3147) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2015
Pours thick dark black unclear with a darker beige head. Aroma is big roasted malt coffee notes with bitterness for sure. Flavor brings big chocolate and nice sweet banana flavors balanced with a coffee roasted malt like flavor. drsordr (2635) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - NOV 28, 2014
Bottle pour dark brown with thin white head. Nose roast, chocolate, sweet malt and light banana. Taste very sweet up front, with chocolate covered banana. Mid palate light bitter and roast, but the chocolate covered banana theme continues through the finish. I actually enjoy it BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Bottle and served in snifter, nearly opaque with a fizzy fading head and not much lace. Just as advertised with chocolate covered bananas supported by nice roast and nutty notes. Best of all is the smokey meat qualities that show as it warms adding even more depth than any of the other Pigeon Porters. Some herbal and leathery earthiness too. Overall I am liking this a lot. No really A LOT!

Bottle pour. The nose is overwhelmingly ripe banana, with a cocoa note. Dark in color, with a light head. Tastes like a banana/chocolate candy with a big sugary kick. Truly a dessert beer. ryecatcher (1433) - Bridgeport, Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 29, 2014
Bomber. Pours a mainly opaque brown-black medium mocha colored head, okay retention and lacing. Nose is roasty, chocolatey, hints of vanilla, banana. Mouth is medium bodied, bittersweet (leaning more towards bitter though) roast, chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, hints of banana. Not my favorite of the íPigeoní series, but not bad overall. jjgmd (2148) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 29, 2014
With Z in Orlando watching the Simpsons marathon, pours a muddy brown color with no head. Nose is deep chocolate , malt and coffee, with some subtle banana. Taste is upfront alcohol with malty coffee notes, very subdued banana. More banana in the finish ! Quaff Score 7 / 10 zgaier (1951) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - AUG 29, 2014

Draft. Not sure how it is brewed but might be there take on like a porter dunkelweizen. Fainter banan notes, heavy on the porter side, mdium bodied.
