Poured from a 22oz bottle I received from Kaser - thanks! Bottle dated 3/9/15. Not sure if that is bottling date, or drink by date - either way, very solid beer. Great aroma, perfect bitterness and well hidden ABV.

22 oz bottle. Tasted on 4/13/15. Bottle from West Lakeview Liquor. This one was a little on the sweet side for my taste. Not bad but not quite my style of DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours cloudy amber/orange with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma strong of citrusy hops, some pineapple, caramel and pale malts, and light doughiness. Flavor the same with a lot of citrus and tropical fruits. Smooth texture. A really good double IPA.

Location: Draft at Bad Apple, 6/11/14

Aroma: The aroma is heavy citrus/grapefruit, some pine and caramel notes as well
Appearance: Pours an orange-amber color with a decent sized beige head and decent lace
Flavor: The flavor is grapefruit/citrus, some sweetness, but with much more bitterness
Palate: The body is medium-full, decent carbonation, and some boozy heat as well
Overall Impression: This is a pretty nice high ABV DIPA. You definitely get some booze here, but it is a tasty beer. They did a nice job with this one.

Although this is labeled an, "IPA," it’s very much a double IPA. Very hazy, goldish yellow in color, with a light-colored head, it has a caramelized, light grain nose that’s really, really inviting. It’s a little piney, a little resinous, but also malty. And light - more of that light grain character in the flavor as well as the nose. It’s hoppy and alcoholic, but mellowed out. It’s very complex and there’s so something intriguing in the finish that it’s driving me nuts. It’s soooo… soft. I love the complex, serious, piney, resinous hops… alcohol… oils… everything is perfect here.

Grapefruit aroma, light copper color. Grapefruit taste, a little boozy. Hoppy and bitter, how I like it

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange amber with a creamy light tan head that leaves loops of lacing on the glass. Aroma is dank, resinous fresh hops on top of a caramel malt backbone. Balanced, with a notable toasty caramel body but a distinct and potent hop character with a spicy bitter finish. Interesting, somewhat muddy imperial IPA. This is not a bright clean hop expression, but is a good complex hop heavy beer.

Golden, amber. Crystal clear. DMS/infection, cooked corn/veggies. Astringent caramel malts, cotton candy, caramel corn. Bleach, alcohol. No hops. Smooth, creamy body. Grassy hops, warming burn. Do not recommend. Would try again or different offering. This seems infected.

Pours a honey amber color with little head. Floral and tangerine aromas. Heavy sweet, lightly bitter, and semi-tart. Very smooth and finishes with a heavy, boozy hop flavor that lingers. Very nice!
