Don’t fight it, Spite It! So this is what we heard... Mrs. O’Leary was excessively milking her cow, because she owed money all over town. One day she tugged too hard and the cow had enough! With one spiteful kick, the lantern exploded and flames engulfed the city. The cow watched with a smirk as the Great Chicago Fire burned the city to the ground, because she knew full whom the Chicagoans would blame. That’s our story and we’re sticking to it!

Pours a deep black. The smell is very nice, roasted nuts and chocolate. The taste is pleasantly sweet with clear chocolate notes. There are no really big flavors; just well balanced ones. The mouthfeel is silky, probably my favorite part of the beer. Very nice overall.

Thick chocolate. Pretty sweet at first then dries out. Milky. Marshmallows. Nestle powder at the end. Not bad.

Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate dark chocolate and cocoa. It pours a dark brown with some faint orange highlights Ms a small tan head that quickly fades to a minimal film outlined by a slightly thicker ring. The flavor starts with moderate-heavy dark chocolate, cocoa, and a touch of molasses. The finish has mild roast with a touch of coffee. It’s a medium bodied with mild carbonation and a somewhat soft mouthfeel.

Honestly, one of the best sweet stouts I’ve had. A rich brown pour, with a medium body and great sweetness to it with a chocolate milk like finish. Someone brought this into a bottle share and I freaked.

Thanks cards04 for the sample. A pretty nice milks stout. Has the nice dry powder cocoa taste typical of the style. without being too sweet or artificial. Nice beer.
