Clear dark blond beer, aery white head, unstable, little adhesive. Aroma: sweet, honey, bit yeasty, cheese, sweet malts, smells pretty aged already. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: carbon sour, bit of sugar, yeasty, honey, sweet malts, orange peel, Mandarin Napoleon, some cardboard. Aftertaste: sweet, orange peel, little bitter yeasty, some yoghurt, Madeira, cardboard, some cork. Has clearly aged for a while, despite still being 1 year before expiration date.
(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a big and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly bready malty aroma with a distinctively oxidised Madeira-like touch, accompanied by a tinge of candied fruits. Moderately sweet flavour with a light level of sourness, medium bodied with a calm, if not flat carbonation. Bready (cara-)malty taste with notes of brioche and a lighter fruity touch; mildly sweet and slightly sourish fruity finish. Something different but I have to admit that I am not a fan of this brew. 05.VI.11 goozen (4119) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2010

Pours clear pale golden with a big, frothy, yellowish head. Mild aroma, yeast, sweet, biscuity malts and light lime. Lowish carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is weirdly sharp, soft malty, yeast. Kinda weird, but hides the alcohol well.
33 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is yeasty and slight phenolic. Dry phenolic and light malty flavoured. Slight bitterness coming through. Dry finish. daniele (9550) - ITALY - OCT 3, 2009
