Hazy dark amber color. Malty aroma, with vanilla oak. Woody caramel flavor, dryish, but mostly alcoholic, with an underlying sourness. The final is quite dry, still with traces of vanilla, with a lightly astringency. A bit too chaotic.
Copper colored pour with an off-white head. Nose is smokey and peaty with some chocolate, vanilla, and dark fruit. Sweet caramel and brown sugar, and certainly some alcohol. The flavor is smokey and boozy. Caramel, dark fruit, and brown sugar sweetness. Light vanilla and chocolate. Theis (15152) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2009
