Clear copper with a foamy medium sized tan head that fades away moderately. Aroma of grains, malt, light caramel, wheat and banana. Taste of banana, wheat, caramel, a hint of chocolate. Pours dark amber with a thin creamy head. Slightly hazy. Sweet wheat aroma, somewhat chemical/plastic. Mild roasted flavor underneath a very thin wheat/malt sweetness. A little bit of a chemical taste to pair with the aroma. Slight dryness on the finish. Bottled. HAzy darker orange and brown with thin tan head. Aroma is banana, caramel, and wheat. Flavor is toasty and sweet throughout with only light toast and bitter taking sweet edge back a little bit.

Bottled. Poured clear, medium reddish-brown with a short-lived cap of beige head. The aroma picked up sour, vinegary-wheat notes and lemon zest first and foremost over toasted caramel, toffee, and nutty sugars.. almost like cleanser as it warmed up. The flavor was better, but not by a whole lot.. caramel, toffee, and light dry-roasted chocolate at the core with tart wheat and a faint hint of orange around.. finished tart and fruity. Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at the brewery, north of Milwaukee, WI. Pours a semi-hazy brown amber colored brew with a thin beige head that quickly dissipates to a thin off-white ring. Aroma of roasted banana, caramel and some wheat biscuit. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of toasted biscuits, banana, grassy hops and some light chocolate. Brown color with a light tan head. Just a drip or two of yeast after the final pour. Dark caramel, banana and toasted wheat bread in the aromas. Light, nearly watery feel. Sweet start with come caramelized sugar. Toasted wheat and hints of light bitter spice. No big melanoidins, and lacks some phenols. Lovely iced tea brown pour with creamy beige head that dies a bit too fast. Nose of bananas and malt. Toasted malt flavor with caramel. A bit of a watery finish. Few hops. Easy drinking and one of the better Dunkle Weizens out there but...........................WHAT THE F*CK IS WITH THE 12 OUNCE BOTTLE, SPRECHER?!?!?!?!!! SATAN! You’ve made a deal with SATAN!!!!!!! Sprecher owes me 4 ounces, an apology, and an explanation!
