12 oz from beer of the month club. Nut brown color with a slight haze and a thick, light brown head. Aroma is crisp wheat with a fruity sweetness. Flavor is spicy wheat with an earthy herbal background. Medium bodied with a short, spicy finish. Very nice. I am used to drinking spricher rootbeer and this is a treat to drink their beer.

12 oz. bottle from Three Cellars (yes. a 12 oz. bottle from Sprecher. I think that’s a sign of the apocalypse). Nut brown color with a slight haze and a thick, light brown head. Aroma is crisp wheat with a fruity sweetness. Flavor is spicy wheat with an earthy herbal background. Medium bodied with a short, spicy finish. Very nice. Hope Sprecher makes this more widely available. crazyvin (2026) - New York, USA - NOV 18, 2009
A nice cloudy dark brown hue with a nice thick bone color head. Aroma mostly had a wheat note, but there was a slight fruitiness to it. Flavor had a nice earth-like quality to it. Rich malt notes through out. Nice mouthfeel and the carbonation was very mild. Finish seemed a little light, but not negative.

Pours dark and murky... nice haze with a thin head. Aroma of bananas, clove, some chocolate and maybe some carmel notes. Nice mouthfeel, nice balance between the banana and clove flavor... Good stuff jport4087 (178) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 15, 2009
Poured caramel brown color with a medium off-white fizzy head that mostly lasted and had good lacing. Moderate sweet toasted malty aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture. Medium balanced bittersweet spicy flavor with a real nice finish of moderate duration. Very good. JPDIPSO (6257) - Wauwatosa, USA - DEC 3, 2009
Brown color with a light tan head. Just a drip or two of yeast after the final pour. Dark caramel, banana and toasted wheat bread in the aromas. Light, nearly watery feel. Sweet start with come caramelized sugar. Toasted wheat and hints of light bitter spice. No big melanoidins, and lacks some phenols. Some iron in the finish and into the linger. badgerben (5255) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2010
Courtesy of Skyview. Dark brown color with a very thin head. Aroma of strong, dark malts, maple syrup and... bacon? Dry malt flavor. Very, very light wheat. A pinch of Noble hop bitterness. It seems more like a solid Dunkel, sans Weizen. Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 6, 2010
Pours a orange red color. Smell is quite sweet. Sweet malts, dark fruits and bready. Taste is bready fruit. Water on the upfront but a fairly nice malt profile. Slightly dry bitter finish.
