COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

Hazy yellow with a huge rocky head and some lace. Aroma hinted of banana, citrus, spice, butterscotch, and earthy yeast. Solid taste in line with the style, nothing dominated and good balance. An enjoyable hefe and worth it at a price lower than most imports.

Had at Sprecherfest 2003. Nothing special, really. Just a quality heffe weiss.

Slightly cloudy with a very, very fresh wheat nose that offered hints of lemon, banana, and spice. Nicely carbonated, it was very refreshing, and clean. Notes of lemon and orange danced around in the soft, fresh, bready middle. Finishes clean and banana-y.

Aroma of wheat and citrus. Cloudy with lots of carbonation. Citrus flavors, and a pleasant mild wheat taste. Not as much spice and fruit aroma/flavor as I would like. Light on the palate and refreshing. Inexpensive for the style; enjoyable.

Has a slight banana aroma; nice, pleasant cloudy light golden appearance with a light white head with a wee bit of lacing. A bit too much carbonation - found myself puckering my lips. Has a decent citrusy tart flavor - a hint of sweet spiciness rounds it out nicely. Overall a decent heffy.

Tasted at Map Room, Summer Gathering 2003. Good weiss, very true to style. Yellow/amber, semi-cloudy with a small white head. Sweet banana/clove nose. Medium sweet, a little bit of hops, prominent banana and a touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel just a tad thin.

Cloudy tan. Banana, allspice, vanilla, phenols, fluffy malts. Reminicent of Hacker.

Good looking white head, cloudy citrus look. Banana some vanilla, slightly light. Well executed hard working beer but no talent as they say.

hotstuff (5232) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUN 2, 2003
Poured a medium white head that was quick dissolving with fine-small bubbles. No lacing with this brew. There was a lot of yeast observed. It had a cloudy yellow body. The aroma was that of clove. This was a watery and thin German Wheat brew and it lacked character.

UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew pours a medium head of fine to large white bubbles and a slightly cloudy straw yellow body. It has banana clove aroma and a smooth initial flavor rush of banana and apricot. It finishes with a slight tingling mouth feel. The buttery notes of a Hefe-Weiss are just barely present. It is just an average at best Hefe-Weiss.
