COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This coarse filtered wheat ale is fermented with a German yeast culture for a refreshingly light spiciness and hints of citrus fruit. A cloudy appearance and an immense creamy head are characteristic of this lightly hopped Bavarian brew.

A good solid Hefeweizen to enjoy at the Sprecher Pub, totally stylistically correct, but not excpetional. Like it on tap out on the patio, but not something I would get elsewhere.

Thin brightbwhite head of fine bubbles with minimal carbonation. Sweet and malty aroma with some light wheat, roasted grain and light floral notes. Color is a cloudy dark orange. Light fruity flavor. Some peaches and oranges and some soft malts. Definite dryness from the wheat and a bit of grittiness. Light alcohol presence. Finishes soft malts and some wheat. Actually a decent wheat beer.

16 oz. bottle from Jungle Jims International Market, Fairfield, OH. Hazy, straw-colored pour with a short white head. Aroma of very ripe banana and light citrus peel. Taste masks most of the citrus and showcases banana and bubblegum with hints of clove and ginger. Mild bitterness of the finish. A good hefeweizen.

Had this on tap at Germanfest in Milwaukee. Excellent! Banana an clove are balanced perfectly. It has a very refreshing lemon/citrus flavor. What a great beer to drink down by the lakefront.

Seems like more of a Witbier than a Hefe to me. Coriander spice is much stronger than the citrus notes. Overall its OK.
