From bottle. Pours orange with white head. Nice spicy aroma hops. Taste is strong spicy and with a good bitter finish. Ungstrup (37862) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2006
A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy and malty, while the flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. Lacks a bit of hops for my liking. joergen (28387) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 3, 2006
Cloudy amber coloured with an off white head.
Aroma of caramel, dried fruits and hops.
Flavour of malts, caramel and hops.
Hoppy finish. Papsoe (25062) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2006
(Bottle 47 cl) Clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Somewhat unclean malt aroma. Medium body and light touch of alcohol - somewhat oxidized. A crude and brutal bitterness. Not pleasant.
Etwas muffiger Abgang, stark getreidig. 8/7/9/6/10/7

Bottle from Brusin Ales as IPA2 Double IPA.. Pours hazy light amber with a transient white head. Aroma of sweet burnt caramel with a little floral hop. Med body more or less. Flavor is quite bitter. Underlying cooked caramel. Hop is intense. Rather uncertain as to the type. Guessing citrus/resin. There’s no doubt this is a hoppy little ale. And it’s a lot more balanced than most of these things. Just wish I could assign a name to the hop(s). Going with floral and resin. Hope that’s not too far off. Ratman197 (14952) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - OCT 14, 2005
Bottle poured a clear copper with a small amber head. Aroma was fruity with a bit of carmel. Palate was medium bodied. Flavorwas fruity with some carmel and a bitter finish. Not a really good IPA in my opinion. Tmoney99 (14604) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 11, 2007
Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured clear brown color with a moderate off-white frothy head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus hoppy and malty aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Medium balanced flavor with a medium bittersweet small alcohol bite finish of moderate duration. This is a solid beer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 1, 2007
(1L Bottle labeled as IPA2, thanks BückDich) Small but persistent beige head atop crystal clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, orange/grapefruit, grassy. Taste is medium sweet, orange/floral, grassy, light dusky. Some dryness in the finish. Light-medium body. At the time I drank it I thought this was very subdued for an IIPA, as it seemed an IPA (at most) in bitterness intensity -- funny to see that it’s in fact aliased to an IPA. A hazed DIPA with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, smooth clover hops, with loads of esters, a bit of nail polish. In mouth, sweet caramel malt with floral hops, a bit of citrus, oily mouthfeel, warming alcohol. On tap at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 21 2012.
