Couldn’t pass up a case of the 16oz bottles on sale at my favorite distributor for $20 even - steal of a deal. Pours a clear light brown with slight offwhite head. Aroma very malty with a lot of that cherry medicinal aroma I always associated with mai bocks. Flavor is relatively light and a bit watery, dark cherry notes are more subdued with a tad bit of yeastiness and a slight boozy warm finish. Overall, not a ton of depth, but a very drinkable maibock.
Pours clear light copper, white, frothy head. Biscuit malt aroma, a little tropical fruit, spice. Taste follows, slight sweet thread under a lightly dry body. Palate has a bit of body, gentle effervescence. Overall, pleasant,.. transitional from the darker maltier winter brews before the more hoppy summer brews. On tap at the brewery. Nice and floral with good complexity and a light body with a slight alcohol burn. Well balanced. Maverick34 (3206) - New York, USA - APR 1, 2016

Still looking for the first Sprecher beer I can recommend to my friends. This isn’t going to be the one. S_Side_Smitty (766) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - AUG 29, 2015
Pours deep gold with a medium off white head. Aroma is mellow grains and light molasses. Taste is similar up front followed very quickly by some German style hop bitterness. The finish is a pleasant mix of sweet malts and bitterness - nothing over the top. alexsdad06 (10268) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 22, 2015
12 oz. bottle at home from old notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange golden color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, ripe fruits, stone fruit, hint of citrus, a slight tart character and oxidation notes, I don’t know how old this was at the time, but these sit on the shelves for a long time. ordybill (1732) - Douglasville, Georgia, USA - DEC 28, 2014
Poured from a 16 OZ bottle into a pint glass.
Aroma- has a yeasty type aroma that is not all that inviting.
Appearance- A dark yellow colored beer with a white head.
Taste- Very disappointing, has a malt flavor that I do not particularly care for. I am a fan of Maibock style beer but this taste is off the mark for me.
Palate - A medium bodied beer with a dry finish with a not-so pleasant aftertaste.
Overall - A big disappointment for me. I was hoping for 16Oz of pure enjoyment, instead it was drudgery finishing this beer off. teemoney (95) - Wisconsin, USA - JUL 20, 2014
Poured from bottle into shaker. Translucent yellow-orange with thicker white head. Smells grainy and lager-y (like a basement or something). Taste is also grainy/ lager-y, with some pretty nice light hop flavor in the background. Palate is pleasant. Not my favorite beer, but pretty solid and good for the style.
