Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is some banana, fruits, mild spices as well as some slight sourness. Flavour is sour bananajuice with some slight rpicyness. Strange brew, but rather original as well.
Bottled at Monk’s Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Muddy amber, no head. Dusty glue aroma. Sweet, yet tart, fruity with lemon, perfume and banana juice. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel, low bitterness. Well... different... djd07 (14366) - Houston, Texas, USA - MAR 20, 2009
Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy copper with a medium frothy off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a sweet fruit with honey and caramel. Decent spotty lacing on the glass. The taste is also sweet fruit with banana and apple. The fruit taste overpowers the beer making it difficult to drink, not too much going on with this one. bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - MAY 11, 2011

It tastes like what i believe that water in the bottom of a dumpster would taste like.

16oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with an averaged sized head. Aromas of bananas with some citrus and caramel in the background. Tastes of bananas. This one was bananas all the way - stronger in the aromas though. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 5, 2008

Bottle from Capone’s. Pours deep copper w 2 f ow head. Nose is funky, slightly assy, with c malt, floral hops. Tastes like a cloying sticky mess, of overly sweet malt and rancid bananas. Palate is awful. I took 3 sips and thrn drain poured almost half of the bottle. A travesty. sebletitje (10067) - Enghien, BELGIUM - APR 26, 2009
The grail of all beers was found.
This is the alcove offered to us by Sprecher.
Pours golden hazy, no head.
Aroma of industrial glue, carton.
Taste, wood, smoke, tasted like old apple with some soap, and mouthwash.
It just doesn’t have anything appealing. While I appreciate the effort to try an African recipe, this beverage is just awful to drink.

500 ml bottle. Deep cloudy pale amber coloured brew. Aroma is lightly spicy with soft toasted grain character over a lightly banana-ish flavour. A hint of smokiness with a husky earthiness as well. Warming brings up a slightly vineous sherryish note. A bit phenolic and spicy with light orange citrus, banana and a soft tartness on the back. Honeyed sweetness on the back. The graininess and tartness are interesting, but the phenolics get a bit much after awhile.
