Lively and spicey aroma. Getting a bit of that basement musk that comes with sprecher. Taste is mild bitter hops with a bit of fruit and malt. It’s kinda all over the place, yet still mild. Pretty dry. Interesting euniceradio (560) - Worthington, Minnesota, USA - DEC 11, 2016
12oz bottle to tulip. Pours hazy red gold, white foam head. Aroma of caramel malts, citrus, bread. Taste of same with bitter pils like finish. Drake (14059) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - DEC 10, 2016
12 ounce bottle from the brewery. 8/29/16. Hazy rust, large foamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of caramel, tart fruits and a bit of toastiness. The taste is bitter hops and toasted malts. Thin, dry. Not bad. JPDIPSO (6262) - Wauwatosa, USA - JUL 10, 2016
Lightly hazed copper color with a moderate, but stable off-white head. Sweet, lightly toasted malt scents and just a hint of floral hops. Light carbonation. Mild malt and an increasing bitterness as it runs across the palate. A decent straight forward Irish red ale. 1/12

Murky dark amber color with a small firm head. Aroma is resiny hops and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is doughy malt at the very beginning followed quickly by a long hit of dry medicinal hops. Smooth and medium bodied with light carbonation and a quick dry finish. Very nice.

Pours lightly hazy amber with a one finger head. There’s a moderate caramel malt aroma. The flavor is mostly malts and unfortunately is rather lacking. The mouthfeel is on the thin side. There’s some hops in the finish, but not much. As others have noted, it’s really not much better than a macro lager Headbanger (4020) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - OCT 7, 2014
22oz bottle 10/7/14 (Binny’s Naperville)-42° in English Pint-Pours a murky medium amber with a loose tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, toffee, and slight hops. Taste of the same. This light to medium bodied brew is just another amber. dwm1034 (785) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 15, 2014
DRAFT at Sprechers in Lake Geneva. Pours amber red with minimal head. Nose is minimal hops; taste is pretty bland....very light. Nothing special. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - JUN 14, 2013
Cloudy dark amber. Fairly large thick off-white head, lasting. Aroma is malty, slightly sweet, caramel, bread, a little fruit, honey. Medium bodied, semi sweet, medium bitter finish with a fair amount of dryness. A bit earthy, grass, grain, touch of caramel. ok. SSSteve (4006) - - MAY 7, 2013
22oz bottle. hazy orange with a small head. malty nose with cereal pale malts and light colored fruit esters. flavor has some bready, toasty malt flavors. bittering hop with a grassy character. light body. pear skin and grass notes. not my favorite sprecher beer.
