Like the description says, toasty breadiness to the flavor, a rare beer to drink that’s thick and a good session beer. Patrickctenchi (6592) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - AUG 29, 2013

bottled, thanks to cavie, amber color with no foam , aroma and flavor are somewhat simple caramel and buttery BBB63 (6557) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - OCT 29, 2004
Bottle: Clean amber hue with very good frothy head and lace. The aroma has notes of caramel, toast, and biscuit malts, grassy hops, light pineapple, and dusty yeast esters. The taste starts mellow and lightly sweet. A hoppy bitterness soon follows with a dash of fruity undertones. A floral character leads to a mild biter and metallic finish. The feel is a bit watery. Quaffable, but leaves something to be desired. Thanks for the bottle, MrFacto. Pailhead (6540) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - DEC 30, 2007
UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 Bottle: The aroma consists of butterscotch, light fruit, and faint grain. It pours a transparent amber with a small off-white head. The flavor starts with a pretty intense sour fruitiness. The finish has faint notes of butterscotch and grain that struggle to get thru the sourness. Light-bodied with a slightly watery mouthfeel. Pretty rough.

12 ounce can poured into a brandy snifter. The beer is a clear copper color witha big white head of foam. Doughy and a little nutty. Medium swertness and a touch of bitterness on the back end. Very bready. Medium body and medium carbonation. RobertDale (6483) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JUL 16, 2011
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear amber with a nice biege head. Aroma of caramel, malt and some floral hops. Taste is somewhat sweet with caramel, malt and a nice balance of hops. Pretty good. vyvvy (6481) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - APR 14, 2006
Pour light amber with medium carbonation in the beer, nice off white head that tapers down slowly. Rich creamy malt aroma with granola aspects. Medium body, very smooth, medium carbonation that is sharp on the finish. Taste mellow roasted malts that are very creamy with a touch of roastedness, there are some lightly spicy hops on the finish. This is very well put together. Generally I am not a fan of anything that says amber, this has much more body that I expected, lots of smoothness and well integrated flavors. Very nice job on this one. mansquito (6438) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 30, 2012

Amberish orange, smooth dense head. Bubbly carbonation. Smells bready, toasty, and slightly peppery. Mostly malty flavor - bready, touch of caramel. Maybe a little bit of a peppery finish. Pretty run of the mill.
