Pours a glowing pinkish bronze with a small, clingy-lacing white head. Mild aroma of sugary strawberries, with a touch of banana and German yeast. Body starts with a fruity sugary flavor with a strange, almost oily palate, with light carbonation along with a more bitter, earthy finish. It actually smells pretty decent, but something is definitely off in the flavor. Probably fermented with too much dextrose and not enough maltose.

Wow. I was really excited to see this new addition to the Sprecher section of my local liquor store. I quickly grabbed a bottle, went home, opened it, and... Well, the drive home was fun at least. The first scent of this beer was artificial sugary acid berry. Tasted like those strawberry candies with the jelly inside. You know, the ones with the wrapper that your grandma loves because it looks like a strawberry! Now imagine dozens of those jelly filled stale candies are melted down and mixed into a brew of skunked Keystone Ice and some grass clippings. That would be a bit better than this beer. Please, Sprecher, stick to putting out your usual great beers.

WHY!?!?!?! What would inspire a man to create such a vulgar brew!?!? Bright neon pink in color with no doubt copious amounts of some foul artificial extract haphazardly thrown in. The nose is a harsh astringent artificial extract aroma with a foreboding milky presence. Wha? Strawberry Nestle Quick dominates throughout. I also get some sort of odd lactose in here as well. Ugh, I can sense the beer gods have been angered by this foul pestilence that has been forced upon the beer drinking land......

UPDATED: JUL 4, 2007 Odd-looking pink color. Slightly hazy, thin bubbly pinkish white head. Initial aroma is okay with banana, wheat, light strawberry. But that is quickly followed by fake strawberry flavors, reminiscent of some sort of kids cereal. Flavor is messed up... fake sweet strawberry, wheat, watery sugar. Way to go with the sugar and fake flavor additions. One interesting thing is that Ive heard people who would be into this type of crap complain about this beer.

pours a bit pinkish in color w/ a nice pink head fairly thck decent lacing but doesnt really look appetising. that strawberry nesquick powdered piss we had when we were kids plus no wait thats about it. Palate is avg some good carbonation. Taste isnt so bad. Lots of cereal and fake strawberries. Maybe strawberry captain crunch. Not a good beer but doesnt really taste bad. Unfortunatelly the more of this I drink the worse it tastes... then it gets a shitty sour cereal w/ fake strawberry taste... I dont want no mo

Ruby red grapefruit juice color. Taller pink head. Really does not look that appealing to me. Sweet wheat aromas, along with a light fruit backdrop. I dont find the aroma as offensive as most, perhaps a bit sweet, but does have a weiss quality. The best way I think I can describe the flavor is to imagine a decent american weiss and add some strawberry koolaid to it. I catch flavors of wheat and some yeast qualities, but then the fake strawberry flavors creep in and kind of mess things up. Another sad attempt to win a segment of the beer drinks by making a fruity beverage.

Pours a cloudy yellow color with strawberry chunks floating in it. Aromas of strawberry quik and wheat. Wierd taste of strawberry, followed by a huge wheat flavor that didnt seem to go too well together.

Hazy reddish blond color with a very thin, pink head. Aroma of strawberry syrup and wheat. Tastes of strawberries and cream with a bit of a tart, grassy background. The strawberry flavor is overpowering and just doesnt go well with this. I think Sprecher should forget about the cutesy beers like this because this one is just awful.

Pinkish, cloudy color. Smell of stawberry nesquick milk, malt and wheat. Taste of malt, grass, strawberries and tartness. WTF is this $hit??? My first dump in a while. Take BBB63s advice!!!!!! Come on Sprecher!

Bottles and "enjoyed" in my NB flute: Pours a cloudy crimson hue with a fading fizzy pinkish head and no lace. The aroma has a major strawberry jam vapours along with some grains, artificial sweeteners and grassy notes too. Well I am thinking this is not as bad as I was warned by the Milwaukee crew so I lifted my glass to my lips and took a sip..."OMFG this is awful!" A crappy syrupy strawberry flavor wrapped in cardboard box. I so love pain, took another sip, yep it is a complete drainpour!! Thankfully I bought this in a mixer sixer and did not waste a lot of money on an otherwise waste of time and tastebuds, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!
