It's a nice refreshing offering for summer months (it's 76 degrees in NC in December. That's summer weather for me). Bit more hop flavor than I expected. Not a bad thing though. I like it, but there are many others from Sprecher I like a lot better.

Clear yellow gold with white head. Aroma of faint musty cheese. Taste is mild bitter. Descent not great. kaser (6220) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 2, 2013
Much better than the fire light. Smooth almost creamy taste. Light and good summer beer. Had this on draft at the sprecher brewpub in lake Geneva, IL. Stldsf1 (616) - Florida, USA - JUN 23, 2013
Golden pour. Pale malts. Soft hops. Nothing special here

Clear gold, frogs’ eggs bubbles in the thin white head. Great Sprecher potato masher pint bottle - too bad it’s a twistoff. OK label. Diacetyl Bohemian pils aroma. Buttery, nutty sweet, modestly bittered, mineral flavors - this is an OK-drinking beer, but it’s almost savory and would be a great base for a chicken dish - stew, pie, dumplings. Mouthy, with a bready finish and a little hop flourish at the very end. I always look forward to a new Sprecher.

Bottle - good size foamy head, light gold clear gold color, crisp balanced aroma and flavor with mildly sweet malt and fruity mild spice - not bad, would be good for a nice hot summer day PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 24, 2013
Tallahassee, Fl - New Leaf Market - pint bottle. Medium golden pour, slight cloudiness, nice bubble actions, snow white head. Aroma has some butterscotch accents, a touch of vanilla. Flavor has a buttery back end with some vanilla notes, some butterscotch, some honey sweetness. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it. Can’t tell if the butterscotch is from diacetyl or it is intended - pleasant at first - turns cloying after a while. backdaft (286) - Menasha Red Light District, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 23, 2013
Bottle. Pours a bright yellow/gold color with a nice finger of foam. Aroma is faintly sweet. Taste is sweet grains & grassy hops. Well carbonated, crisp, & slightly bitter. An easy drinkin’ summer beer. unclemattie (4358) - Georgia, USA - JAN 30, 2013

Poured a hazy golden yellow with a inch or less of head, nice frothy lacing into a SS pint lager glass.
Aroma was strong grassy, citrus, skunk, spice.
Taste has same nature but medium-fullish bodied, lots of noble hop, spice, grassy, some breadiness, grassy spicey finish. With tart grassy citusy type bittering. Strong nature for a 5%er.
