COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Traditional brew that’s as English as the Queen and a rainy weekend. Brewed from English roasted malts, a real ale yeast and premium hops. It’s long on malt and hops with a clean finish.

Draft at Sprig & Fern in Nelson. Great clear amber color, lacy off-white head. Aroma is toast, caramel, toffee, tea. Nice malty, toasty flavor, fairly dry, medium bitter. Crisp, clean, somewhat light. Good for the style.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2016 Pint on tap at S&F, Tahunanui. Savoury malt nose, like sweet cooked tomatoes. Some chocolate even. Brown beer with thin white head. Classic bitter. Zingy, full-bodied. Chocolate/cocoa taste, lemon sherbet in the finish. There’s a lot going on for a bitter. It’s brilliant and moreish, a really enjoyable beer.
