Served on tap in a tulip glass
Appearance – Poured a deep amber color with a medium off-white head. The head faded fast to leave a fair amount of lacing.
Smell – The aroma was a good dose of pine and some earthy hops. There was also, mixed with these, some aromas of light citrus hop and small amounts of caramel and biscuit.
Taste – The taste started out on the sweeter and creamier side with some caramel and a light molasses sweetness mixing with a bready base. These however were not alone and there was a nice piney and earthy hop flavor initially present that grew stronger toward the middle of the taste. The pine and earthy flavors reached an apex at the middle of the taste and with the sweeter caramel, began to fade as the taste moved toward the end. While these flavors faded, other flavors of grapefruit hop and a light tropical fruit flavor came to the tongue, which in the end after all were mixed together created a rather tasty and complex aftertaste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body as well as the carbonation level were above average. The creaminess of the body was slightly lost with the extra carbonation and the flavor profile would have likely done better with a slightly lower level of carbonation.
Overall – A nice IPA with a rather complex yet pleasing flavor. Not the best out there but one to try if you get a chance.

Tap. Pours a clear gold body under a one finger foamy white head. The nose is citrusy and resiny with a heavy bready malt base. A light hint of alcohol as well. The flavor is not quite as bitter as I was expecting, though there’s plenty of hops. The malt base is rather heavy and sweet with lots of bready malt. Fairly thick and full bodied with soft fizzy carbonation and a lingering tropical fruit hoppiness. Decent stuff, but not something I’d drink a whole lot of. jtclockwork (17654) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Bottle thanks to Brenton. Pours cloudy blonde gold with bone white head. Nose and taste of bready malt, caramel, pineapple husk, peppercorn, resin, tree sap and pine. Dry finish. Prickly carbonation. Medium body.

Light blond appearance with a ring of head. The nose is surprisingly leafy, replete with Centennial and Cascades rounded out with careful co-humulone touches and tastefully bitter licks. The body too is heavily C-hopped, but quite acerbic. Despite the emphatically bitter finish, a decent, highly drinkable brew. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 11, 2013

Hazy straw yellow body, medium white head, soapy lacing. Nose is pine, caramel, resin and grapefruit. Flavor is all bitterness. Masking the actual hop flavor. Medium bodied, light carbonation, massive bitterness, truncated finish. boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2013
Bottle from Mari’s. I can’t locate a bottle date so here’s hoping its fresh. Pours clear copper with a ton of carbonation, slight white film on top, uneven bubbles, light lacing. The aroma has a nice pine, resin hit followed by a nice citrus backbone. Good smelling beer. The taste has a nice bitter punch at the front of the tongue that has a longer duration than expected. There is a nice balance of grapefruit, and maybe some rye malt. A well balanced beer and a lot more flavorful than the ABV would suggest. Solid palate but boy does this dry, hoppy, bitter taste linger in your mouth. Well done!
